Serenghetto
This photo is entitled “Serenghetto” and it was taken 2 days ago on the kitchen sink. It’s a strong reminder of the close connection that everything holds in the uni/multiverse. Just enlarge the scene a few thousand times and move it to Africa and you get a herd of zebras drinking by a crocodile-infested water hole.

A good tip (for those interested in photographing ants) is adding a pinch of sugar to a water droplet to achieve this “herding” effect.

I’m convinced, the next few years will host major paradigm shifts and discoveries, it’s already begun (from ourselves to places like Mars).

February is pretty much over but the best is yet to come. Everything is falling into its right place and success is not really determined by luck, since luck means being prepared in the face of opportunity and the opportunity is here and now.

I’m so glad to see my friends doing better than ever, some even following my steps in their own way which is a clear indication of something that makes me both flattered and proud. It makes me even more interested in keeping focus on things because whether you like it or not you end up being an influence in your close friends’ lives, and what better feeling than knowing you have been a catalyst in someone’s success and ultimately shaping part of the future for the good.
So what’s next?
One of my resolutions for every new year consists in visiting at least 7 new locations, near or far. This year I’ll start with the close ones.

This time and to make the adventure even more special, my dear friend Megan is flying down from the U.S. to join me on the first big trip of the year.
The first destination will be the ancient ruins of El Tajín, in the middle of the Veracruz jungle, a visit to the folkoric town of Papantla and then quite possibly a hot-air balloon ride to photograph the highest mountains/volcanoes in Mexico (which all happen to be in the same area). It will be nice travelling with her and I’m sure she’ll enjoy her first time abroad.
The next mission will be by late April, when I get to fly to a remote town far north by the Sea of Cortez for a presentation to the association of graphic design students from the Sonora Tech. Insititute.
Not only it will be a badass photo opportunity (think wild-west-style desert landscape plus white/gold sand beaches in a turquoise to deep-blue sea), but it will also be a brand new place for me and I’ll be hanging out with one of the most talented illustrators I’ve met, Cesar Moreno of Golpeavisa.com.mx

So that’s it for now, rohking hardkohr shouldn’t be a problem, my friends.

Seeya around.
